Philosophy
Built to be trusted in the room it plays in
A monitor is only as good as the decisions it lets you make. Ours are designed to be precise and honest, yet musical — and to be calibrated to the room and the listener.
- 01
Resolution with balance
A system has to resolve detail precisely and reveal mixing errors, so you can make well-founded decisions — yet stay balanced, fatigue-free and low in coloration, while still sounding coherent and enjoyable.
- 02
Measured and heard
The systems were developed through extensive measurement and countless listening comparisons: drivers in different combinations, enclosure types and tunings, evaluated side by side.
- 03
It has to translate
As mastering engineers we work with these monitors every day. Our results have to translate to the outside world — a perspective that distinguishes us from conventional loudspeaker manufacturers.
- 04
Room, listener, system
A loudspeaker never works in isolation: it works in a room, with a listener. A DSP-based controller lets us tune the listener–loudspeaker–room-acoustics relationship to each situation.
- 05
Modular and consistent
The architecture is modular — start small and expand later. Components are selected so the sonic character stays consistent across every system size.
-
We optimize the listener–loudspeaker–room relationship as a whole.
